6:00PM - Note: We won the spirit award again, and received special mention for safety again. Alliance One was the champion.
2:34PM - With a score of 79 to 16, the ninth alliance and the Sabre Bytes have been knocked out. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will finish up, and the finals will be played, then there will be the closing ceremonies. We'll be heading straight home afterwards. Great job everybody!
Traffic Light Of Safety Kristen shows off the trophies Andrew and the thumbs up We had Chinese again Karth karth karth, ick ick ick!
2:29PM - Another disappointment. 772's bot got some balls in the one-point goal, and maybe one in the upper goal, but the match was still very lopsided.
2:23PM - The rematch!
2:12PM - The score: 128 to 0. 772 was disqualified for a one-point goal incursion.
2:06PM - Not even close, sadly. The score is going to be somewhere in the area of 106 to 17.
1:58PM - Well, here goes!
1:51PM - Our next match will be against Alliance One . . . truly, not in our favour.
1:36PM - 26 to 38! We won, we won! Alliance Nine moves onto the quarter-finals! (To make a correction, the previous was not the quarter-finals, but an elimination round.)
1:31PM - Oh man, another intense match. The opposition tried to keep us pinned against their ramp, but they fell over backwards eventually. Whether or not we will get penalties for that remains to be seen.
1:27PM - We won the first round! They don't seem to have given the score yet, but the second round is starting right now!
1:13PM - An incredibly close first match! Extremely well-played. Our alliance did very well, and 772's robot made many shots, dumped many balls, and even made it up the ramp at the end! The score will be a bit of time coming.
1:04PM - A figure from the Hershey Centre is speaking before the crowd.
12:47PM - We are in an alliance! 772 was picked by teams 1353 and 48. In fact, as Alliance Nine, we're in the first quarter-finals match, which is against Alliance Eight. And, we're in queue for it.
11:06AM - We lost our last qualification match. Alliance choices will be in half an hour or so, and lunch after that. Then, of course, the finals!
10:57AM - Here we go!
10:42AM - Fifteen minutes till we're up.

10:09AM - Our next - and last - qualification match is in just under an hour.
10:07AM - We won! 28 to 24! This puts us in forty-fourth place.
10:02AM - Match 102 just finished, and boy was it close. They'll be announcing the score in a minute.
9:50AM - We've been queued. The current match is 99, and we're 102.
9:32AM - Our first match is in half an hour.
9:23AM - We arrived at the Hershey Centre about an hour ago. The opening ceremonies are currently taking place. They're exploring questions like finding the cure for cancer and using energy sources that don't pollute.

3:11PM - 772 is now in thirty-eighth place after a loss of 48 to 39. Our last match of the day is in half an hour.

1:35PM - We just lost a game, 106 to 17.
1:15PM - The current match is number forty-seven, and ours is number fifty-one.
12:21PM - We lost that match - we're currently at two wins and two losses, and going for lunch. Matches resume in about an hour.
12:15PM - Here we go!
12:09PM - We're about to be queued for our match. It'll be the last of anyone's match before lunch, which has been delayed.
11:40AM - We lost our last match. We made all of the points for our alliance, however - three in the top goal, three in the bottom, and six from Sarah. Our next match is scheduled to be the first one before lunch at noon.
11:28AM - Joel reports we are indeed up next.
11:22AM - Looks like they're running a bit behind. We're match twenty-nine, while twenty-six is on right now.
10:41AM - We won 66 to 22! We play again in about half an hour.
10:34AM - Another great match! We were on the ramp, but it's not quite certain if we were on far enough or not. The score is on its way.
10:29AM - We're up!
10:15AM - We're on deck for our second match, number fourteen.
9:49AM - We won, 22 to 46! Our next match is at quarter after ten.
9:47AM - We did awesome! The score's coming in a minute.
9:44AM - We're on deck and just about to start our first match!
9:25AM - The first match is being introduced. This regional has two fields running simultaneously - the Pontiac field and the Chevrolet field, so games start every three and a half minutes or so, instead of every seven. Odd-numbered matches are played on Pontiac.
9:22AM - The anthems.
9:15AM - Here are our safety advisors. Now we're watching the Aim High video.
9:13AM - Hello, referees!
9:13AM - We've got teams from Canada, Great Britain, America . . .
9:07AM - Woodie is speaking. His microphone wasn't working at first.
9:06AM - Enter the judges!
9:04AM - The opening ceremonies have started. Woodie Flowers is here!
8:57AM - The opening ceremonies are about the begin.
8:52AM - Our first match is the fifth one, at quarter to ten.
8:46AM - Good morning and welcome to the first day of matches at the Greater Toronto Regional! The drivers have already met on the field, and the first match will be at half past nine. The opening ceremonies will probably be in about fifteen minutes. The Bytes are currently tuning up the robot for today's competition.

3:49PM - Not much to report on today. We've been up for practice rounds. The Internet is pretty terrible. The day is going to end soon.
1:30PM - Lunch is over. 772 hasn't gone up since.
11:58AM - Bad news for updates, the Internet situation has gone sour. The pits still have it, at least. So far we've had two practice rounds, during the first of which we managed to drive all the way up the ramp unassisted for the first time. Also, Andre reports that our pit, our the "Sabre Den," is now fully functional.
10:10AM - They've been setting up the first practice matches (two fields) for a while now. It looks like they're about to get it on.
9:41AM - They're providing a video feed of the competition! Check it out by clicking here. There isn't much happening right now - it's just a slideshow.
9:08AM - Sorry about the late start for updates, but we had complications. The important part is, there's Internet in the stands this year. All the drivers have gathered together on one of the twin fields for the opening remarks and things.
