5:02PM - I think that does it! I'll update more once we get back to the hotel. Bye for now everyone!
4:58PM - The Regional Chairman's Award is presented to Team 1511, Rolling Tunder for encouraging appreciation for science and technology more than any other team present at this event.
4:56PM - The Engineering Inspiration Award goes to Team 340, G.R.R. for splitting their team.
4:48PM - The Regional Winner medals (gold) are now being presented to the following teams: 1713 (Gears), 250 (The Dynamos), and 1450 (XQ RobotiX)
4:43PM - The Regional Finalist medals (silver) are now being given to the following teams: 1518 (Ulterior Motive), 354 (G-House Pirates), and 340 (Greater Rochester Robotics).
4:40PM - The Underwriters Labroratories Industrial Safety Award is presented to Team 250, The Dynamos! Congratulations! Great job to Leah, though! All the other teams voted us the safest, by the way... just not the judges, I guess! Keep it up!
4:39PM - The Highest Rookie Seed Award goes to Team 2228, Couger Tech, for making their way into the first place alliance! Yay!
4:36PM - The Rookie All Star Award is presented to Team 2228, Couger Tech, for "bursting onto the Finger Lakes scene".
4:34PM - The Judges Award goes to Team 354, the G-House Pirates for coming from New York... apparently, a 10 hour drive.
4:32PM - The DiamlerChrysler Team Spirit Award is presented to Team 578, Blue Lightning for their "award ceremony tunnel"!
4:28PM - The Johnson & Johnson Sportsmanship Award goes to Team 191, The X-Cats for their gracious professionalism! Awesome!
4:25PM - The Motorola Quality Award is presented to Team 365, The Miracle Workerz (MOEzilla). Great job!
4:23PM - The General Motors Industrial Design Award goes to Team 316, The Lunatecs! Amazing ramp system, guys!

4:20PM - A boy from team 578 tells us to thank our mentors once again, and we DO! Thanks GM Canada! =)
4:18PM - Some people are talking about FIRST, so we have to wait for the awards! I can't understand their names over the mic!
4:09PM - Alliance #3 has won!!! CONGRATULATIONS to teams 1713, 250, and 1450! We're sticking around for awards =)
3:57PM - They're playing Simple Plan... ANYWAYS! Alliance #3 and #8 are still battling it out! First, #3 won, then #8 one! THIS IS IT!
3:49PM - It's been WAY too hectic to put any pictures up, but they have been taken. I'll put some up tonight at the hotel! Keep checking!
3:36PM - It's down to Alliance #8 and #3!
3:23PM - Alliance #8 got rid of #5!
3:18PM - VERY close at 30-34, but we DID lose and are finished. Great job in the semi-finals, team, we came a long way! Alliance #3 goes to the finals.
3:07PM - We got beat... but it's okay. We can still win it!
2:40PM - Alliance #3 just took out #6!
2:32PM - So... WE WON!!! HUGE DEAL!!! We may have no arms, but we sure WON!!! AHHH! You don't even know how amazing this is... we just knocked out Alliance #2! OWNED!
2:13PM - Alliance 5 beat 4 this time, knocking out #4!
2:08PM - The last two matches were turned around, giving each set of alliances a 1-1 tie, so it comes down to the next match. OH, might I add that WE WON! We're STILL IN IT!!!
1:44PM - The 8th Alliance knocked out Alliance #1! Congratulations and well played!
1:13PM - The first finals match was played, the second is happening SOON! Alliance 8 beat 1! It is best 2 of 3 matches, though. I'm putting the chart up, it will be updated as we go. Most recent match will be on top:

11:37AM - We're SO proud of our drive team! Joe has truly risen to the occasion =)
11:05AM - WE WON! It was a tight 2-0 in which we triumphed! The ramps deployed perfectly, but no bots were able to get up on time. Still, absolutely great, team! It's lunch now and afterwards the teams will be picking alliances, which I will update LIVE!
10:49AM - I finally perfected the match chart, and I added one with yesterday's matches below it! Be sure to check those out. I'll be making one for the FINALS, too! We're up soon =)

10:12AM - I'm working on a match chart (easy to read, you know) for today. It will be much better, we used them last year! In the mean time, here are some more pictures:

10:09AM - THIS JUST IN! Something was unplugged ("wire came out of the fuse") in the robot, otherwise the ramps would have worked flawlessly. They're back online and I'll video that beauty in the next match for you!
9:55AM - We played our first match of the day, unfortunately we lost. Our ramps did not deploy... so the pit crew is looking into that!
8:52AM - They played our animation on the big screen! I took a picture, too. Yay!
8:47AM - There was a recent announcement that the 15 minutes mark is here! So, matches will be starting then (9:00AM).
8:08AM - We got in and DID get better seats. But everyone's so intent on crowding, I'm getting completely claustrophobic.
7:30AM - We're leaving the hotel, now! Trying to get better seats...
