10:49PM - The team is back at the hotel! Time for SLEEP! But before I tuck in, some media was requested by parents. The only dinner footage is video of us all on helium... which you'll have to wait for! Right now, it's all about the pictures:
This is what scouting looks like...
In line for a match.
Strategizing!
Dumbo is ready for action.
The flags are going, that means we're cheering for SEVEN SEVEN WHO?! That's us, 772.
And here go the drivers, concentrating.
The boys taking Dumbo back to the pit area.
Packing up to go.
Andre and Piper, ready to bowl!
Also ready to bowl are Adam, Ross (hiding!), Richard, and Andrew.
Dante and Quinn are excited.
Amanda didn't want to bowl, but she enjoyed the hand dryer!
Our wide selection of balls...
Synchronized bowling with Joseph and Leah!
Andre decides to try a "granny shot"!
It gets to you after a the first round... we tried to get through three! AH!
Leah's wiped out. Time to go back to the hotel!
6:01PM - We just got back to the hotel, with the exception of the Koscielski's staying behind to fix Dumbo! We're going out for dinner at the Old Country Buffet and then going bowling.
4:42PM - We played our last match of the day. Our arm (Dumbo's trunk) was removed due to it being oversized. Also, the ramps did not deploy as intended. The mechanical section sure has their work cut out for them tonight!
3:14PM - The team has had some technical difficulties thus far! We went into a match without our joysticks calibrated, and then we were told our robot was too speedy! We've only deployed the ramps once thus far, but we're getting a lot of positive feedback about them. So, we practice... and we're working out all the little kinks! Our laptop batteries are pretty much out, but we'll do our best to keep you posted.
1:08PM - The team is scouting while watching practice matches. The word is that Dumbo is in great shape and will be up next match! Game 12 have just started and we are in 13, we'll let you know how it goes.
12:34PM - We're all quite busy eating, matches should start again around 1:00PM.
11:45AM - It's almost time for lunch, after which we will begin our scouting.
11:15AM - Another match for the Sabre Bytes! Still no robot ("Dumbo"), but Ian's technique of throwing ringers is improving!
10:5APM - As promised, here are some pictures:
A quick snapshot of the field.
Andre, Piper, and Andrew Neilson (Mentor) hanging out in the stands.
Playing with Photobooth to pass the time!
And we're up for our first match!
Getting ready to cheer.
Our "leader of cheer", Amanda Iarusso!
... just so you feel that you're in the action.
10:42PM - Our first match! Unfortunately the robot is not present, but John Herbert (GM Engingeer) and Ian Koscielski are up to represent the team.
9:06AM - We're receiving the introductions for the drivers, I'm about to go take some pictures and I will post those as soon as possible to show you all what's going on!
8:30AM - We're in! Time to go grab some seats in the stands before they're all gone.
8:17AM - We've arrived at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), doors will open at 8:30AM.
8:00AM - Everyone has eaten breakfast at the hotel, we're packed up and ready to go!
6:20AM - There's the alarm! Time for the girls to get up!
