Overview

2025 brings us new challenge for us to compete in. The game focuses on cleaning up reefs by adding coral. The game is played with two teams each consisting of three players.

Track Overview:

The game is played on a 26.5 ft by 57.6 ft playing field. The field will contain two reefs total, two processor, one barge with three cages (One for each alliance), and four coral stations (two for each alliance). Both alliances will compete to keep coral on their reef as well as keeping algae off. Algae can also be scored in the net.

Time Overview:

During the first 15 seconds of the match the robots will move autonomously without driver input. After the autonomous period has ended the remaining two minutes and 15 seconds will be driver controlled. The alliance with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Additional Rules:

If each alliance has scored two algae in the processor a cooperation point is earned which help to lower the need for ranking points. As time runs out robots will attempt to park at the barge or climb onto the cage in order to score additional points.
